Hyd pressure

Postby idt-572 » Fri May 31, 2019 12:53 pm

I have a 1950 U narrow front tractor. I'm pulling a 15 ft bat wing and it wont pick up the wings or center without me getting off the tractor and helping it up.

Question is, where is the pressure relief valve at in the hyd system? Looks like it has to be in the reservoir/ control valve housing.

Appreciate any help.

Should be 1200 psi or so. If less won't lift much.

It has 504 jugs on it and I dropped the jugs down to get the piston closer to the top of the deck. 335 cubic inch now and compression is right under 9:1.

On propane. Never had it on the dyno, but it pulls it in almost everything i've stuck it in.

Your pump is worn out. Had the same problem on a 1954 UB.
